NejÄastÄji pouĹžĂvanĂ˝m algoritmem lĂŠÄby roztrouĹĄenĂŠ sklerĂłzy (RS) je zahĂĄjenĂ s lĂŠky niŞťà úÄinnostĂ, tzv. prvnĂ volby, a pĹi jejich selhĂĄnĂ eskalace na vyĹĄĹĄĂ HET (High Efficacy Treatment). PouĹžitĂ vysoce ĂşÄinnĂ˝ch lĂŠkĹŻ jiĹž v ÄasnĂŠ fĂĄzi nemoci se ale ukazuje jako lepĹĄĂ strategie k oddĂĄlenĂ progrese nevratnĂŠho poĹĄkozenĂ centrĂĄlnĂho nervovĂŠho systĂŠmu. PĹĂznivĂ˝ bezpeÄnostnĂ profil tÄchto umoĹžnuje sledovat od samĂŠho zaÄĂĄtku RS cĂl ĂşplnĂŠ stabilizace klinickĂ˝ch parametrĹŻ i nĂĄlezu magnetickĂŠ rezonanci. PĹekĂĄĹžkou ve svobodnĂŠm uĹžĂvĂĄnĂ vĹĄak sloĹžitĂ˝ nepĹehlednĂ˝ systĂŠm omezujĂcĂch ĂşhradovĂ˝ch kritĂŠriĂ.
